Laura joined Hepburn Delaney in January 2023 as an Associate Solicitor in our Family Team.

Laura has expertise in divorce and financial settlements on divorce, all areas of private children law, injunctive proceedings and cohabitation disputes.

Experience

Laura has specialised exclusively in family law since qualification and advises on all aspects of the law in this area arising from the breakdown of a relationship.

As a member of Resolution, Laura is committed to resolving family law disputes in a constructive and cost-effective manner however, for those cases that require court involvement, she is able to deliver a robust approach in an effort to achieve client objectives.  

Laura will tailor her approach to meet the specific and varying needs of her clients and provides clear, practical advice on complex legal issues while remaining compassionate to the difficulties faced by her clients. Laura takes a personable yet professional approach and prides herself on building strong rapport with her clients. 

Laura has dealt with financial remedy cases involving assets of up to £3M and has assisted more senior solicitors on high-net-worth cases involving assets of up to £20M. 

Laura also has experience in dealing with complex children cases where there has been local authority involvement and in applications to remove/contest the removal of children from the jurisdiction. Laura also has experience in representing clients in respect of applications for Special Guardianship Orders.
