Kika Watford

Kika joined Hepburn Delaney in January 2021 as a Solicitor in our Children’s team.

Expertise 

Kika specialises in representing children in public and private family court proceedings. Kika also acts for children and young people who have separated from their Guardian and are able to instruct solicitors independently. 

Kika’s areas of expertise include, but are not limited to: 

– Care proceedings 

– Separate representation of children 

– Deprivation of liberty of children 

– Adoption 

– Representing children in complex child arrangements proceedings 

Experience 

Kika is an experienced and confident advocate, regularly attending the local courts to represent children and Children’s Guardians. 

Having spent 11 years working at a Local Authority she gained an in-depth knowledge and experience of dealing with cases where children have suffered physical injury, emotional and sexual harm, neglect and domestic abuse.
