Rebecca is a Partner/Director and leads the Family team. She is a member of the Children Panel and specialises in representing children. She also has extensive experience in dealing with Divorce, Financial Remedy and Co-habitation disputes.
Rebecca provides assistance to clients throughout Hertfordshire and because of her reputation, also represents clients further afield. She regularly attends Court hearings in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London.
She is a member of Resolution and is committed to helping you reach a conclusion as swiftly, amicably and cost-effectively as possible. Rebecca adopts a pragmatic approach to resolution and predominantly assists clients to conclude matters by agreement, however she is an experienced litigator if Court proceedings are required.
Alison is the head of the Wills, Trusts and Probate Team and she is a Member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners.
Alison originally practised as a Commercial Property Solicitor in London for Linklaters and Price Waterhouse Coopers before transferring her specialism to Private Client. Alison’s commercial experience enhances the advice she is able to offer when dealing with estates.
Alison is committed to providing clear and considerate advice to all her clients, whether in preparation of a simple Will or advising on complicated Trusts and Probate. Alison regularly arranges home visits throughout Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties.
Drenne has worked within the Family Law setting for over 30 years initially as a Solicitor and then training and qualifying as a Family Mediator, gaining accreditation through the Law Society and registration with the Family Mediation Council. She has spent the last 27 years living and working in the Hemel Hempstead and Tring areas. Drenne now specialises solely in Mediation devoting her professional time to assisting separating couples resolve their issues in a safe, informed environment which allows them to take control over important decisions in moving forward with their lives.
Gemma is a solicitor in the Family and Children Team who has worked in Family Law since 2009. Gemma is a member of Resolution and a Resolution Accredited Specialist in Complex Financial Remedy matters (cases involving substantial assets) and Private Law Children matters.
Gemma offers specialist advice in a wide range of family issues including divorce and separation, financial remedy (for unmarried and married couples and civil partners) and children matters.
Gemma adopts a practical and non-confrontational approach to resolution wherever possible. Gemma is committed to understanding the particular needs of a client and works hard to achieve the best possible outcome as swiftly, amicably and cost-effectively as possible. Her aim is to provide clear, straightforward and constructive advice and to support clients through what for many is the most traumatic period in their lives.
Gemma commenced her legal studies in 2005 and went on to study Law at the University of Hertfordshire graduating in 2010. Following graduation Gemma completed her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in 2012 before qualifying as a solicitor in May 2015.
Claire is a solicitor in the Wills, Trusts and Probate team and has specialised in this area of law for over 12 years. Claire joined Hepburn Delaney in January 2018 after a two year sabbatical caring for her 3 young children. Previously Claire was an integral member of the Wills, Trusts and Probate department at Pictons Solicitors operating out of the Hemel Hempstead, Tring, Milton Keynes and Luton offices. Claire is very approachable and understands the emotional impact that can arise from making a Will or having to deal with the administration of a loved ones estate. Claire can help you plan for the future which can be through succession planning in a Will or drafting Lasting Powers of Attorney. Claire can also help try to minimise the stress and complexity that can arise when dealing with Probate whether that’s by simply obtaining the Grant of Probate or by dealing with the whole of the administration of the Estate. Claire can also offer home visits in Hemel Hempstead and Bedfordshire.
Nicole qualified as a solicitor in 1992, specialising in Family Law gaining experience in both private practice and in house with local authorities. In 2001, Nicole first became a member of the Law Society Children Panel and has specialised in representing Children for the past 15 years.
Nicole joined Hepburn Delaney in January 2019 working within the Children team and is an experienced litigator if Court proceedings are required. Nicole’s style of work is thorough and committed to the welfare of families, with an attention to detail. Nicole seeks to leave no stone unturned in pursuit of a fair and balanced picture being presented to the Court at the final hearing.
Nicole has one teenage so, a boarder terrier and enjoys walking in the countryside.
Julie is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, specialising in representing parents in Children Law proceedings. She has worked in Family Law for 16 years. Her sensitive and practical approach to resolving matters relating to children makes her an asset to the Children Team. She is an experienced and confident advocate, regularly attending the local courts to represent parents and family members.
Laura is an experienced family solicitor and a member of Resolution with over 15 years experience. She specialises in Children Law and regularly attends court to represent parents and family members.
She also has extensive experience in all aspects of family law including Divorce, Cohabitation and Financial Remedy. Laura is a member of the Law Society Advanced Family Law Panel.
Laura is known for her compassionate and friendly approach. She is able to support clients during what is often a traumatic and stressful time in their lives.
Matthew joined Hepburn Delaney in January 2018. Matthew comes to us with a background in corporate leadership and management. These skills are invaluable to Hepburn Delaney’s continued progress in efficiency and excellence. He also chairs committees with the Chief Executive Dog.
